Ann & Dan’s Excellent Adventures
Once in a Lifetime
No, it’s not the Talking Heads song . . . same as it ever was, same as it ever was, same as it ever was, same as it ever was . . . . then again, it kind of is. Come on over to the blog site to find out about our latest BIG trip planning. The trip of a lifetime. At least for now.
(Some of) Ann’s US Trip Photos
As I mentioned in the last post, it’s about time we check out some of Ann’s images. Desert anyone? (Admit it, you know you’re hearing a U2 tune in the back of your mind!)
Ann’s Cacti
Why should I get all the close-up fun? Come over to the blog site and check out some of Ann’s close-up images made during our short photo trip while back in the states. Her subjects were a bit more . . . prickly than those in my last post.
Flowers
Our visit to the Openluchtmuseum wasn’t all just for walks and fun. We of course brought our travel cameras with us. Best thing about them, both of mine have a close-focus mode. Come check out some of my efforts with what was in bloom.
Lauren and Brandon’s Trip
I guess it’s about time I tell you about Lauren and Brandon’s trip to the Netherlands. I mean, it’s only been a month . . . or so. Come find out where we took them. I think they enjoyed themselves. We sure did!
Photographing Walls
I guess my photographic practices from our trip to the US carried over during Lauren and Brandon’s visit. Come check out one of my visual explorations from one of our day trips around The Netherlands.
Shooting the Shooter - Fun Edition
Two Shooting the Shooters in a row? Amazing! Anyway, it’s time to transition to Lauren and Brandon’s visit, which came a week after we got back from our US trip. Oh, and don’t let the seriousness of the teaser image fool you, we did a lot of laughing during their stay. These images prove it.
Shooting the Shooter - Dusk and Dawn
It’s about time for another shooting the shooter. Join us for a couple of images from our stop at Joshua Tree National Park.
Morning Serenade
Sometimes being out in nature, regardless of the photography one does, is magical. The morning session at Joshua Tree National Park was just that, thanks to a Cactus Wren and a lovely morning.
Puzzle Pieces
We took the long way from Lone Pine to Joshua Tree National Park - via Death Valley. It added a few hours of driving time, and we only made two short stops to photograph, but I think it was worth it. At least one of the stops was!
Repeating the Past
Sometimes a photograph is about much more than the subject, the photograph itself, the photographer or even photography. Come join us for a couple of more photographs from our stops around Lone Pine and a few thoughts about the state of our world.
5 Paces
Come join us for the first of the blog posts from our trip to the US!
Monograph: Q2MR Urban
Come on over to the website to check out the second of the Q2MR Monographs. Q2MR Urban.
Monograph: Q2MR Nature
As you know, I did some color printing before we took off to the US. I also did some black and white printing, namely a couple of monographs that had been on the back burner for awhile. Come check out the first of them.
Printing the Image - Swedish Sunset
It’s time for another printing the image post. This time it’s a single image from our trip to Sweden
