WORKSHOP PORTFOLIO - PART 4: VERTICAL IMAGES

As explained in the last post, the next collection of images shifts into a vertical format.  In many respects, when I’m not photographing a square, the vertical frame seems to suit my vision the most.  Again, I’m not sure why, but it does.  Perhaps the most useful accessory I have for my cameras is an L-bracket, which lets me mount my camera vertically on the tripod.  Long live RRS.

Part 4 - Vertical Images:  By now in the portfolio I am hoping that a perceptive viewer is becoming aware of the range of interests I have photographically.  While I can discuss where many of my ideas come from, the results are hopefully apparent in the images.  One shouldn’t to have to explain an image.  My interest in things as the subject, the concept of time in photography, how that renders water, the quality of light at different times of the day and different conditions, and the beauty of natural form are hopefully summarized by the images in this section.
