Christmas In Liberia

Merry Christmas!

Although I didn’t get to be with family, I did celebrate Christmas with friends at a rooftop barbecue hosted by my friends Alex and Natalia.  And in my opinion, it’s the best rooftop view in the city!

Of course this wasn’t your typical Christmas weather, mid-80’s and sunny, but it was Christmas.  We had a small group of 9 and everyone brought a bit of something.

Which meant that we had way too much food.  Which was ok, because we put some meat and bones on a railing and the Kites started scoping it out.

It took longer than we thought - they seemed very cautious - but after a while, they started going for it.

It was nice being able to spend time with friends, and to have some "live" entertainment.  Though I sure missed Ann!
