We Interrupt Your Regularly Scheduled Programming - The bimobil Has Landed!
Again, I’m not going to say much other than the bimobil is here. What a relief!
Yes, the truck was long, too long in fact to actually drive into the EuroCamping driveway. No worries, in great Portuguese and trucker fashion, we unloaded the bimobil in the street (I got to drive it into EuroCamping!).
Consistent with the way everything has been going with this, the vehicle is fine and in great shape, but it started raining right as it arrived. So we got drenched. You know what? I didn’t care.
I did a quick inspection of everything to make sure there was no damage (A OK!), and then afterwards did a close inspection inside the rig. I even discovered that they’d managed to get the teak shower insert we requested when we were in Germany! It was on order, but I guess it arrived!
It’s hard to say just how much stress this has all been, but we’re one step closer. It really feels good having it here instead of a thousand miles away.
Feels good enough to stand out in the rain for one last photo!
