Taking One for the Team

Given that we are constantly climbing over rocks and down slippery slopes to get to the waterfalls and creeks we love to photograph at, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that every once in a while one of us will slip. Who would have guessed that waterfall spray would make rocks slippery? This summer as we were working our way down to the base of Pinard Falls Ann took a bit of a spill.  In typical fashion it did not happen at the steepest or slipperiest portion of the climb, but instead after things started to level out and we let our guard down.  Oops!  As the photo showed, Ann was a trooper and it didn’t stop her from getting the shot!
