Shooting the Shooter Part 7.5 - Alsea Falls

I’d totally forgotten that I’d made a video of the Alsea River right by where Ann was taking her picture (I told you she was taking her time so while I was waiting I remembered I could do video if I wanted).   This video also gives you a little idea of why I say that what matters in a camera is(are) the lens(es) and the sensor.  I shot this with my comparatively nice (for a point and shoot) Sony, but the sensor size is significantly smaller than the one in Ann’s camera and it renders with Sony colors and contrast (the Zeiss lens on it is pretty darned good!) compared to Ann’s Fujifilm rendered sensor (it’s actually a modified Sony sensor) with Fujifilm lenses.  Her camera yields better (more accurate) color saturation, white balance and exposure than this Sony.

Anyway, enjoy!
