Diplomat Dan

Today I got to play diplomat, accompanying the USAID Acting Mission Director to the National Validation Conference of the Liberian Land Rights Policy.  It was good to see the Land Commission’s hard work come to fruition . . . and to sit up on the distinguished guests stage about 10 feet away from Madam President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.  Too bad I didn’t have my camera with me today - I wasn’t planning on being asked to attend.  

Oh well, at least I have a picture of some goodies I got!
