Fitness Update
In case you're wondering how the exercise is coming along - very well thank you.I'm back in the groove following my R&R (6 weeks to go till the next one) and have expanded my training a bit. Three days a week I do an elliptical glider for an hour with a 5 minute cool-down. Three days a week I do 20 minutes on the elliptical and then a 5 minutes upper body workout on this machine that looks like something from Star Trek but feels like something from the Spanish Inquisition, plus a 5 minute cool down. The 7th day, well my body needs a break - though once I get used to the newer routine, I'll probably fill it up with something or other. What else is there to do around here?
So how am I doing. Well, in my hour + 5 on the elliptical tonight I: burned off over 900 calories, went about 6.5 miles, and climbed about 10,600 feet in elevation. Not bad for a geezer.
As for music lately - REM, U2, Peter Gabriel and Eric Clapton for the past week.
Oh, and that machine I told you about, I only do the upper body workout, but . . . .
